Cant Verify GooglePlay License Key

Im pasting all of it like it should, did the same thing on our last game and was fine
took the code of the last game and tried to verify it and it didnt verify it...
is there some problem on the verifying services ?

or am im doing something wrong suddenly ?
and yes i made sure there are no spaces
when i enter it it says "Please Enter the key in a valid format"

This needs a better error string if it is going to come up all the time. I am having the same issue.

It could be that unity is converting the code into something else? Just a speculation. I have the same problem as well where the code, gives the error that the key is not in the right format

Hey, i'm just fixed it. Analytics in my project has not been completely integrated

 

Same issue here. So frustrating.

 

I figured it out on my end. The app that I had published was in "Pending Publishing" status on the Google Play Console. I tried the key from another app that I had published and it worked. I would assume that is why everyone's keys in the above thread eventually worked (or why there was no additional response). I'm calling it solved.

Are you the Owner/Manager on the project? What error are you receiving when trying to enter the key in the Dashboard, can you provide a screenshot (obscure any important data).

 

Okay, here goes. The messages are very cryptic, but here is what is the issue.
Above you got the solution already:
1. You create a project in Unity.
2. You activate Analytics (but it is only 'superficially' activated).
3. Next you make sure you log into the Analytics dashboard that the project is part of (check by making it a collaboration project and push it to Unity).
4. If you go to the Operate tab and then Analytics on the left, you will see that it says: open your project, go to services and select the stuff.(all great, but what does it mean).
5. You now go to your project, have the services tab open, go to Analytics.
6. Now press start and the actual Analytics will connect (likely you won't see much happen, but if you stop the play in the editor it will suddenly open the page and show activity!

7. Now you go to the services tab and go to IAP, if you paste the key in, click verify and it will work!

 

Probably easier to just enter the key on the Dashboard for now.

 

Thanks, that was my final step, the drop that finally worked

That's basically what fixed it for me:
- Updated to newest unity version
- importet IAP through Package manager
- disable VPN connection
- Press Play button and then, while it's running, press inside the Analytics-Services Tab, or maybe reload the services tab.

after that, my key was magically verifed

 

For other readers, until the Editor is fixed, just enter the key on the Dashboard for now.

i cant paste the License Code from Google in Unity 2019 and not on the Dashboard from Unity. How can i solve this problem?

 

Can you confirm where you obtained the key?

 

I got the key from Google's developer Console. I am using Unity 2019.2.3f1

 

The version of Unity that you are using should not matter when you are trying to paste the key on the Dashboard. We have not heard of similar reports of the Dashboard not accepting the key, but we will check. Keep in mind the reason that we ask for the key is so that we can track your IAP purchases for reporting purposes only, it is not required. But yes, it should work as expected.

 

Thank you, but it doesnt work neither in unity nor on the Dashboard. What can be the causes? I'm sure I copied the key correctly. I have tried it several times.

If i press go to Dashboard on the servies tab and then click on verify it works suddenly. Without that the license key was shown as not valid

 

Yes, you need to click Verify

 

This also worked for me.
