Can't upgrade any older version project to Unity 2020.1.3?!

Not even a project with nothing in it. I tried creating a blank project with Unity 5.2, and also with 2018.3. When you go to upgrade it to 2020.1.3 you get this dialog, every time. And then Package Manager window won't even load if you continue.

Please advise. Should I try an older version of Unity? Is 2020.1.3 just totally broken? This is the first time I've used any version of Unity 2020.

I tried Unity 2020.1.1 and it works fine. Unity 2020.1.2 also works. But 2020.1.3 is garbage.

You can try removing the bundled package that it's shown on the error message from the given folder, it seems that the file is corrupt and it is causing problems on your end.

However, you could have other issues, other files missing or corrupt. I would try to reinstall Unity 2020.1.3 from the Hub, making sure that you don't exit the Hub until the installation is completed.

Thanks, I reinstalled from Unity Hub. I had previously installed from the download archive page, not sure if that build is just broken or something. Anyway, issue resolved!
