Question Can't sign into Unity Hub on linux

I installed Unity Hub from your website but I can't log in. Every time I click on the "Sign In" button a new tab opens asking me if I want to open xdg and when I click yes nothing happens. There are no errors in the console. I am using ubuntu and I have tried multiple browsers.

 

I'm having the same problem but from what I can tell it is trying to redirect you to a login page either in Unity Hub or in your browser but fails to do so.

 

Same problem here on pop_os

 

I have a similar problem. I'm pressing the "Sign in" button and it just redirects me to an empty page and nothing happens. Couldn't find a solution online.

Same Unity Hub 3.0.0-beta.6 AppImage launches a single welcome screen with Create Account or Sign In. Clicking on either does nothing. If you click activate license in the tray menu it asks you to sign in to manage licenses and again the sign in link does nothing when clicked.

***Oddly after trying to activate license deal I killed Unity and relaunched. This time it didn't open the Welcome Window and had a different manage licenses window. I was able to just dismiss things and eventually install a version of Unity...no clue if that will work yet.
