Can't send Direct Message because my message is "Spam-Like"

    I was sending a long, detailed message to the creator of a plugin. The message contained details that I did not want to publicly share in the forum. After thoughtfully writing this message, ensuring it was clear and well thought-out, I receive an error stating that my message is "Spam-Like." It should be noted, I spent probably 15 minutes writing this message. A spammer is likely either scripting their behavior, or is copy/pasting.

    This is terrible. If necessary, show a "prove you're human" box. Make messages flaggable as spam, and punish recurring spammers. But don't punish people who have no track record of spam for writing long messages.

    If you're trying to reach out to an Asset Store Publisher you should contact them through their Asset Store contact email. While I can't see your message I won't be able to see exactly why it was flagged as spam. We do have some spam filters in place to help reduce unsolicited private messages.
