Bug Can't select models by clicking on them

I cannot select a model by clicking on it in the scene view, it has to be selected in the hierarchy. (Bug appears in 5.3, and was not previously present)

Edit: I cannot select it by clicking, but I can by dragging the mouse selection box over the object
