Bug Can't select items of List View quickly

    Hello,

    I'm using UI Toolkit in Unity 2022.2 and noticed that I can not select items of a list view when clicking moderately fast. I actually have to wait a brief moment until the object is selected on click. The hovering highlight is always correct but the element will simply not be selected when I click on a different element after I selected another.

    My list view is unmodified and I provided the list elements how it is shown in the documentation which leads me to believe that this behaviour is a bug.

    it's possibly a bug, we'll need the part of your project so we can test it. Can you file a bug please?

    I filed a bug report with a repro project. It appears that it was reproducible but is now marked as duplicate. I'm assuming this has been reported by someone else too then. It states that I will get a notification when the duplicate report is fixed but there isn't a link or reference to the other report mine is a duplicate of so I could inspect it. Is this intended?

    Hello, we've just switched to 2022.3.1f1 LTS and are now facing the exact same issue described. :(
    Did you get an update or find a workaround?

    I have not been informed about any fix for this issue. It is definitely still preset in the latest 2022 version(s).
    I don't think there is a workaround for this because it would mean directly modifying the ListView script which is part of the engine itself since 2021.

    Yeah, same. I basically have a list of loot items where, if clicked, I rebuild the whole list. Whether the next click works or not is random.
