    Hi.

I'm a completely noob on unity but i'm trying to learn how things work.

I would like to put this asset (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/15103) in my project with the animations bond to some keyboard keys but i really don't know how to do that. I tried a lot of things seen in some youtube tutorials but nothing seems to work for me. Does anyone knows how to do that or have some tutorial where it is explained step by step?

PLEASE help me … i'm desperate (already lost a week trying to do this).

    Thanks.

PS: Sorry if this is not the appropriate local to post this.

TonyLi, thanks for the answer. I already have the animations working but now i'm facing 2 problems:

    1. When the character runs, it doesn't follow the terrain level. In other words, when it runs if it is on a higher place it stays on that height (no gravity effects).

    2. Also when it runs, the camera doesn't follow.

Does anyone have a solution for this problems? I'm testing some script for the camera but i'm not getting it right.

Hi! Sounds like you're getting there!

Add Physics components -- for example, a CapsuleCollider and a Rigidbody with Is Gravity ticked.

    Try the SmoothFollowWithCameraBumper script.

    Or use Unity's Sample Assets.

Already tried the different camera scripts that you provided through the link but it still doesn't follow the character. The run animation is faster than the camera so the character starts to disappear.

Your solution for the gravity didn't work. My scenario have mountains so when the capsule collider touch on the floor it jumps automatically and rotates randomly. Maybe i'm doing something wrong .. could you give me more details about how to do it? I have a 3rd person view that was obtained adapting a FPS view (basically, i pulled the camera backwards). Within it i have the camera and the character (children of FPS view).

Try Unity's Sample Assets. It includes a number of camera rigs and character control systems that you can apply to your character.
