    Hello,
maybe this is not the right place to post my issue, but...
    ...let's try!

First of all my issue seem to be a duplicate of this one
    https://forum.unity.com/threads/ocu...-android-permission-read_phone_state.1175669/

Well, I have an Oculus Quest app that require audio (to be more precise I'm deploying an app with Facebook MetaAvatar, that require audio for lip-sync")

When I publish the app I get this error:
"Your manifest includes the following permissions restricted by Oculus:
    - android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO
Please remove these permissions if they are not needed by your application. If they are needed, you must include justification in the "Note for the reviewer" field when submitting your application for review"

    1) I can't remove audio permissions in the manifest, since it's needed by the app (without audio it does not work)
    2) I've filled the justification in the "Note for the reviewer", but the review seem to be an automatic process, so just filling it does not work

I've wrote to Oculus for help on it, but I never had any reply.
Maybe someone was able to get rid of this issue?

    Many thanks!!

I've published to the alpha channel and been able to share the content with a collaborator, despite running into the same warning. Like you, I added notes for "reviewer" that indicated this was due to Meta Avatar experimentation only.

I don't know if the submission would fail on a Release build or not.

Hello, i have the same problem, no matter what i do those permissions keep showing up in there RECORD_AUDIO, and MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS. Im not doing anything like that in my code, but seems facebook is calling it in their integration package, thats why its ending up with those permissions. I dont know how to remove it, I been trying for days, cant submit a build becuase of that.
