Trying to pick R8G8B8A8_sRGB as color format for my render texture, but it automatically sets it back to R8G8B8A8_UNORM

    need help asap.

Hi, it looks like this was something that got raised a while ago, and was fixed in 2021.2. By the looks of it, the fix hadn't been backported yet, so I'll make sure that happens.

@therenaydin looks like the backport finally found its way down to 2019.4, the fix should be available in 2019.4.38f1

I just ran into this exact same problem on Unity 2020.3.30f1. Found this thread when google searching for a solution.

Hey @ForemanDesigns , running the latest 2020.3 I don't see it occurring any longer ... Unless I'm mistaken, it should have been fixed in 2020.3.38f1 (so that would indeed explain why you still see it happening)

I'm on 2020.3.38f1 and I'm still seeing this issue.

Edit: I tried updating to 2020.3.48f1 and this problem persists.
