Bug Can't login service is unavailable

Can't login because the service is unavailable Xubuntu 16.04

 

Having the exact same issue. Mint 18 KDE.

Somewhere someone posted 'remove http_proxy and https_proxy from your environmental vairables.'. to fix it, without saying anything about where those variables might be.

I think what I did to fix this was install the latest .deb file for linux. Right now I have Unity3d working on Ubuntu 16.04 at first I did have this bug. Did you try this .deb? http://askubuntu.com/questions/776991/cant-login-unity-game-engine-on-ubuntu-16-04-lts also to install a .deb sudo dpkg -i "filename". Have the same issue. I am using ubuntu 16.04. I tried to run unity 3d with wine but it would say "Windows 7 or later required". I installed the latest wine version (1.8.4)
