I am trying to install unity editor onto my external hdd because I have a bad laptop with basically 0 space, the problem is, whenever I change the install location in unity hub like all the tutorials and forums say it still doesn't download it to the hdd. I know this because my hdd has 500gb and my laptop has a couple of mb and it still comes up with the "you don't have enough space" message. PS: I have saved the hdd as my install location
Also, I'm running kali linux, I'm not sure if that'd be what the problem is but it'd be annoying if it is. Any help would be appreciated as I really want to make a game my family can enjoy.
    Thanks :)

Unfortunately, there is no way currently to tell Unity Hub to stage the installation to a different drive. It will always download the installation files to the C: drive before installing to the desired location.
