This is my first time installing Unity. I am on a fully updated Windows 10 and yes I am pretty sure that 77GB of free space should be enough for the editor.
I tried both - hub and direct editor download from the archive, but both give me the same error about the download being corrupted or incomplete.
In terms of the hub I tried: reinstalling unity hub, launching as administrator, editing the file path and making sure I do not select any extra modules to download.
My Internet is fast and stable and nothing else has trouble downloading. I haven't tried different versions yet but thats because I was told that I specifically need to have the 2020.1 version(as such I am attempting to install 2020.1.9).

Is there any fix for this ridiculous nonsense?

    Thanks in advance.

Assuming your download pipe is free of charge, are you able to download earlier versions? I mean just to see.

Try a 2019.4 LTS, see if that runs. It's at least a datapoint since my team is using those all day long on Windows and Mac and all is solid.

Didn't work through hub either. Will try again tomorrow - different versions and both hub and archive
