Can't Find Terrain Tools

    Hello,

    I Can't see the "terrain tools" in the package manager.

    Are there any special settings? Annotation 2020-04-20 224913.png

    Hi there,

    Terrain tools is a preview package therefore you will need to enable preview package in order to see it. Currently you need to go to the `advanced` menu to enable Preview pages (it might change in the future)

    Note that there's certain risk related to using preview packages, as stated on the documentation page:

    Hi @ethan_jl_unity !!
    I am currently in Unity 2021.1.0a4.949 and in the package manager there is no Terrain Tools even though I have "Enable Pre-release Packages" activated.

    Any help on how can I find TerrainTools?

    Yep, I have the same problem. Enable Pre-release Packages is enabled and it still doesn't show up. Also tried Refreshing and Manual Resolve— no help.

    Using Unity 2021.1.0f1.

    Yeah quite a few things are missing in package manager for me in 2021.1 HDRP 11. But here's a tip for how to add it to your list.

    For anything that is now mysteriously missing do this. Click on the plus icon and click on Add Package Name.

    Then go to this link

    And click on the verified packages, preview packages, etc. and add in for example
    Terrain tools is this - com.unity.terrain-tools

    It will then import terrain tools into your project.
    Yeah this is rather annoying, but thanks to @LennartJohansen for his help with VegetationStudio not finding Jobs Collections, etc. Because Package Manager made this disappear as well.
