Can't embedd gifs from imgur

I'm using the image tool in the thread editor and pasting the .gif links. For some reason, this doesnt work on certain links.

For example:
This link - http://i.imgur.com/jVWzyO4.gif
Doesn't work -

While this one - http://i.imgur.com/pXLb796.gif
Works fine -


This is a real pain in the ass since i want to add a bunch of these gifs on my threads..

Any ideas?

 

I believe this is due to the file size being too large with your first gif being over 17mb. I'll confirm this, but I believe we are restricted to 4MB and lower.

 

If that's the case, thank you. But since you're embedding them, why apply file restrictions? Doesn't the server only have to store the gif source, or does it get downloaded?

I third this question. I'm having to downsize images that imgur hosts quite happily...
