Can't download latest build

I'm trying to download the latest Unity for Linux build from this page:

It takes me to a "Page not found" page. Can you devs repost the build?

 

I'm hoping that means another build is on it's way shortly . If you need I still have the .deb version. I could link it (Checking Forum Rules on that) if needed.

The build linked in the current news post is also 404ing for me.

 

Yeah, it seems all builds randomly went down. Don't know what happened with it.
If you happen to need it just let me know and I will hit you with a conversation link to it.

It seems to be down again -- I'm getting 404s.

 

Also I'm not sure if it's a huge deal? But the text in the link says: http://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/unity-editor-5.1.0f3+2015091601_amd64.deb and the actual file name of the download is: unity-editor-5.1.0f3+2015091501_amd64.deb .. "2015091601" vs "2015091501" ?

 

Same here. Strangely though, the download link works fine for a friend. Maybe CDN issues? I'm downloading from Canada, here's what I see:

Hey, where's my Unity?

 

404's for me here as well, hasn't been up for me since Wed.. Picked the wrong day to reinstall the OS

 

Misanthes, would you like me to post a copy for you? I still have it.

 

Also not able to DL. It worked yesterday, but the .deb was corrupted somehow. Try a re-dl today and no bueno.

 

I can mirror the latest build, not sure if I'm allowed to post a link here to it though, but you can PM me and I'll send a link to it, including MD5 of course.

 

Some official word would be nice. Its experimental, but having no communication on this for three days is very unprofessional.

Didn't find anything in the forum rules that disallows me to post links, so I'm going for it.

The latest (as of today) build can be fetched from my mirror, it does include a MD5 checksum so you can verify that the file is intact.

Moderators/Admins: If you frown upon me providing an alternative mirror link here, just remove it. I don't want to be the guy that violates the rules, but as I said, I didn't find anything specific in the rules about it.

Nice, I'll keep the link up till the folks from Unity either takes it down for whatever reason, or until they release another build. And if it is okay with the Unity people, I could mirror the new one as well for redundancy. Just have to wait and see what they say.

 

By the way, I reported the problem via the Support form, pointing to this discussion and including my cURL log.

 

Huh, I've just downloaded it from there, from the last post.

 

The official link is working again now, but it seems to be unstable since many people have problems with it.

 

It's still not working for me, am still getting a 404 when trying. From what I understand looking at this, a CDN in trouble might be a possibility.

 

If you need the build now you can use the mirror I linked to until the Unity people sort it out.

 

I can also say this is not working for folks in the Pittsburgh, PA area on different ISPs.

 

I notified Natosha earlier and she mentioned that they would look into it.

 

The download link works for me from at home, but I get a 404 from work. Very odd.

Thanks I can't get the official download to work even now. Cuts out at less then 50mb but yours has made it throught 350mb so far

 

Downloading huge zip file is so ancient way to delivered stuff. More convince way is create a torrent and/or repository. At least Linux side. In torrent downloading is such bad thing that count of the grapped file are can't be monitored ...

Positive way is that no one can alter zip file anyway.

 

I expect it will be pushed into repositories once it comes out of beta.
