Can't create JS script

Under "Add Component" and then "Scripts," the only language available for me in the dropdown menu is C Sharp. I've already tried a reinstall.

 

JS support is being removed.

Ah. Got it. Didn’t get the memo. I create most scripts in C# anyway, so it’s no problem. Just wondered where it went.

Out of curiousity, any reason why it is being removed?

 

Slowing down core development and only a tiny portion of the userbase had a majority volume of JS vs C# scripts in their project.

 

did they remove js from Unity???? because the only thing it gives me is c#
