I'll see if I can confirm this in a specific older Unity version. But I'm in 2021.3.7, with PB 5.0.6. Using the Face Selection tool, I'm finding that I can't click though a backface. Instead, the backface gets selected instead of the face I'm trying to select. For example, in this case I was trying to click on the far wall, but doing so select the backface of the wall in the way.

I really feel like this isn't how things used to work, and I'm trying to figure out when this changed, and if it's a setting? Since I mainly work with ProBuilder in this way, it's pretty annoying that I can't click the face I'm looking at, and instead it hits the backface.

This turned out to be a setting I must have toggled without realizing it:

Toggling that causes select to either hit backfaces or x-ray through them.

    So I'm all set. :)
