Bug Can't click objects/scenes since 5.3

I didn't notice this reported when I last checked which surprised me, so maybe it's just my system, but since 5.3 I ran into a most annoying bug:

I can't click scene/game elements. I can select them fine in the hierarchy, or I can select multiple objects in the scene view by holding click, but I can NOT select a single one. Also, in game mode, this has the effect of not being able to click buttons, either.

This makes the latest builds unusable for me so I keep using the 5.2.2f1 build because I can't do anything without being able to click gui buttons in my game (and yes, everything works just fine there so I don't think it's an OS or driver issue), but I very much wish for this bug to get fixed.

Did you try the 5.3.1 build? It works fine there.

 

I just did, and indeed it seems to have fixed the problem. I'm not sure why I wasn't notified by the new build so I missed it.

Just to avoid confusion, I don't work for Unity, I'm a Unity user (and tester), much like yourself. Glad it helped!
