It's happening again. Twice I tried to purchase the Poly Art Boar, and the transaction supposedly failed. Just like months ago. I'll try again right now. This is what I got:
    May 2017 Purchas Error.JPG
I bet my card was charged 3 times for this asset. Can you fix this once and for all, please!

Just wanted to add that while I'm not currently having problems, I was unable to buy for 2-3 week around 2 months ago. Neither CC or Paypal was working for me.

    @wood333 @Spanky11

Thank you for getting in touch.

    Apologies for the frustration caused.

Unfortunately, the error seems to relate to server error. Normally you can resolve this by just disabling your VPN. Please give that a go first. Alternatively you can try using paypal again as the payment method.

Thank you for your continued support

I am having the same issue. I made a purchase with my Master Card then Unity just showed:

"Unfortunately, we are unable to process your transaction at this time. Please double check your billing details, try a new credit card, or contact your bank.[ERR:107]"

The worst thing is that Unity Asset Store already charged me $20 from my Master Card, but the asset does not appear in my purchased list. That's really annoying! They charged me but don't give me the item that I bought.

    Can anyone help me?

Issue resolved for my part. It turned out to be a VPN, that had messed up my system. An uninstall and a resetting of my network solved it.

    Cheers

Unfortunately my computer is used for other business purposes. Since it is working perfectly and I am able to use my credit cards to purchase from literally every internet seller other than the Unity Asset Store, it would be unwise for me to risk changes to the system solely for functionality with your Asset Store.

I do not use a VPN, my computer connects directly to the Comcast router (by physical cable), and not via a network. We don't use Pay Pal here. We made a few international payments by Pay Pal some time in the past, but it was never as convenient, efficient or trustworthy as using a major credit card, and we do fine without Pay Pal.

Since the Unity Asset Store is the only merchant who cannot process our purchases, we will simply have to forgo purchases until such time as your systems function at the same level of reliability as every other entity from whom we purchase products. Please do let me know, if you discover why your system does not work when all the others do.

@wood333 ,I just checked our log but I cannot find any failed transaction from you recently (last transaction was 4/25). I can find 3 failures due to your e-mail issue in the beginning of 2016 (1/21 to 1/24) other than that your transactions looks good to us. Your connection is good, your credit card is good. Please let me know what you want to purchase and we can definitely look into it for you.

I made no transactions since 4/25, however today I successfully purchased an asset using my laptop at an off site location. I then tried my main computer, and received a different error message than reported above. Thus:
    New Error 5-27-2017.JPG
In response to the new error message, I reexamined my system and I believe I narrowed this issue to a missing exception in my Firefox browser. I deleted the exception for "pay.unity.com," and remarked it "allow." Upon that change I purchased an additional asset. Back in business. Thank you for your assistance. Drinks all around!

In Firefox upper right symbol to "Open Menu"
    Select the gear named "Options"
In "Privacy" tab there is a button named "Exceptions" click it. This opens a list of how you are handling your cookies, since I have Firefox set up to "ask me" every time a site attempts to use a cookie, my Exceptions is a complete list of whether I Allow a cookie, Allow for Session (goes away when I close Firefox), or Block.

In my case, for some reason I had the cookie "pay.unity.com" set to block. You can highlight it and use the button above to change it to Allow, or in my case, I probably used the button below to remove it, and when I went back to make a purchase Firefox asked me what to do with the cookie attempt and then I clicked Allow.

The point is, for purchases you must allow the cookie "pay.unity.com" in whatever browser you use.

I use "ask me every time" and when a program attempts to place a cookie, Firefox asks me to choose, Allow, Allow for Session, or Block. I click Exceptions as shown above to get the list.

We probably have different versions of Firefox, but there should be cookie controls built into yours. If you block all cookies you can't buy on the asset store. If you don't let Firefox use the cookie "pay.unity.com" you will have the same problem I did. If you think this is your problem you will need to research your release of Firefox and find out how to enable that cookie. That's as far as I can take it for you. Good luck.

If your card is good, the problem is either your computer cookie settings, virus protections, etc., or its on Unity's side. You could try to rule out your computer as the problem by enabling all cookies and shutting down virus protections, and then attempt the sale, OR, try to make a sale on a different computer at a different location. Yes, that's a hastle. Otherwise, I sent a message by email to Unity support, and they opened a ticket number and started helping me.

As I read the threads it appears that others than myself have experienced temporary issues that go away after time or action by Unity. Something at Unity's end, or your merchant providers end, changed for me, as evidenced by the error message change from a consistent 115 to the new 113. Either you guys fixed it or we all just got lucky.

I can get my computers to let the transaction take place. Upon the 113 error, enabling cookie pay.unity.com was all it took for the asset store to accept the transaction from my main computer. My laptop worked without any attention.

Hope my posts are helpful to others.:)

@navy3000 ,I started another thread for our investigation about your case due to sensitive PII. Basically, you can check back your card issuer about the card you used to purchase from Unity and thanks for your understanding.

Hi @TCROC, are you still having issue with your purchase? Seems like you manage to made the purchase thru paypal.
As mentioned in this thread, you can try these steps to help with the error you are facing.
    1. disconnect from any VPN/Proxy
    2. check that your billing and card information is correct
or 3. add cookie "pay.unity.com" as exceptions in your browser cookie settings

if you are till facing problems with your purchase, do come back to us again and we will try to assist you.

Thank you and have a nice day!

I am now experiencing the same problem these folks were experiencing. I bought a Master Card gift card and a Visa Vanilla gift card. I put both in. They gave me the error decline message. I even connected both to PayPal, still got the error. Is the problem because the two cards are US only, or is there more to it?

Hi @JoyStation This is likely being caused by our payment server not accepting gift cards. Our payment server only accepts Credit Cards and Debit Cards.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, do reach out to us if you need further help.

    @Nurain86 , I can't buy an asset either.

I've tried using 3 different credit cards, and none of them work. I've contacted the bank agencies, and everything seems to be fine with the cards.

The error message I keep getting is :

"The system failed to process your card at this time. Please double check your billing details, try a new credit card, or contact your bank. When contacting support, please include the following information(show):
    Path: https://pay.unity.com/as/checkout?s...outToken=44ddfcf4-e9fc-4b97-a076-827544eafdcf&
    Request ID: c59e5ede-6579-4e0f-a120-3ed7ed70152b
Error: The system failed to process your card at this time. Please double check your billing details, try a new credit card, or contact your bank.

So, not managing to do it, i made a paypal account. Only to find i couldn't complete the purchase either. This is the error message I get:

Another potential customer here, unable to purchase. I've tried different credit cards and different browsers. Can I just send Unity Asset Store a personal check, or make the purchase over the phone or something?

    hi @Orczillabot

Have you tried some of the solutions mentioned in this post?
Alternatively, you may want to try using PayPal or other credit card.
You can try to disconnect from any proxy/VPN, or check with your bank on why the transaction is block since we did not see your purchase going through to our side. The problem might be with the bank instead.

Do get back to us if you need further assistance.

    Thank you for your support!

As I indicated, I have tried another credit card. Different banks, both Visa and MasterCard, as well as different web browsers. I'm not behind a proxy or on a VPN. I've had the bank on the phone in real time while I attempt the transaction, and the bank doesn't see it at all until some time later, long after the purchase page indicates the purchase has failed. The problem seems pretty clearly with your payment processor, not with my bank(s). Here is the most recent failure message:

... except that the problem was (probably?) my browser after all. For anybody else unable to purchase, in addition to enabling pay.unity.com for cookies, also enable it for popups. Which is weird, because I didn't see any popup pop up, and correlation is not causation, but I have the assets now.
