    Hello,

    I used to be able to set the resolution of my game in the player settings, but when I now run it on an iPad 4, it always runs at full retina. I've tried different quality settings, forced 768, and even went directly into DeviceSettings.mm and added the code below at bottom of the QueryTargetResolution function. Still no luck.

    Any suggestions?

    > resMult = 0.5f
    > *targetW = GetMainDisplay()->screenSize.width * resMult;
    > *targetH = GetMainDisplay()->screenSize.height * resMult;

    You should use the Target Resolution in the Player Settings.
    There you can define what kind of resolution

    Thanks! Already tried that, doesn't work. I just checked with an iPhone: same problem. It just gives me native resolution and nothing else...

    Ok, found it myself I think. Used time machine to revert back to an older version of my project and Unity 4.5.0. I could then select different resolutions again, both directly in the editor and by editing DeviceSettings.mm. I then upgraded to the latest version of Unity, and resolution was stuck at native again. Apparently the latest version of Unity is linking with something that sets resolution, regardless of settings. Am I really the only person who's having this problem? I'll file a bug report.

    I think this problem was introduced in Unity 4.5.2p2 (or possibly p3) - we are unable to upgrade our project to Unity 4.5.3 because of it.
