Question Cannot install Unity on Apple M1 Silicon MacBookPro

    I have been trying to install the M1 Silicon version of any of the available releases on Unity Hub 3 but every time I get the same error when the download of the "Editor" package finishes. It gives the following error: Install failed: Validation Failed

    And to add injury to insult, when I download the latest silicon build from the painfully hidden archive page, I can't install it either:

    Just hold down shift and right-click on it and then Open. It will let you start it even though it will complain it is insecure
