    Hi everybody,

I couldn't find the right place to ask this question, so I hope it can be answered in General. I'm trying to use the unity recorder to create gifs of my project. In the documentation, it mentions it should be one of the default types of recorders; but when I open it, it doesn't appear in the drop down. This is what I see:

I'm using unity 2021.3.15f1 and the recorder version 3.0.3. Does anyone know if this option still exists or if I'm missing something?

    In advance, thanks.

Oh I didn't realize I was looking at the wrong documentation... was the functionality removed? If that's so, would there be another way to make gifs from our editor?

Hi! The GIF encoder is indeed not available in recorder version 3, but it is available in the recorder version 4 (Unity 2022.1.1f1+)

And it came back with a vengeance :)
The speed and quality of the encoding is much better.
