Audio Cannot create resource file for asset

    I keep getting this error, when I try to import Sound file to the project.

    I try .wav format and .mp3 format still getting same error.
    I also try uninstall unity and install it again, I'm using version 2019.4.17f1

    I could't find any similar issue in google, this is weird.

    Can someone help me please?

    I'm new to unity.

    I had the same issue. Try to take your file and process it through a converter to .mp3. For example I had a .m4a file and I used https://cloudconvert.com/m4a-to-mp3 and converted to .mp3 and my audio file imported fine into unity. Just google audio converter websites that supports the file types you have. I'm running 2019.4.17f1.
