Question Cannot change PPU on turret sprite

hey guys i need help, i am following a tutorial by Muddy Wolf (

) to make a 2d tower defense game and need to set the PPU of a sprite to 32 and change the sprite mode to multiple, however when i try to do this the apply button stays unclickable and if i click off the sprite the values go back to the originals, i cant find a solution anywhere and i dont know what to do

 

show a screenshot of your inspector window with that issue it might help to debug your problem

 

here is a screenshot before and after i try to change the value, the issue persists with different tile maps, and even in completely new projects. any help is appreciated.

 

My operating system is Windows 10 pro, here is all the specifications of my laptop i could find.
my unity version is 2022.3.5f1.

unfortunately it seems to be, i am attempting to send the whole project to another computer now, to see if it might be an issue with my laptop.

 

Sorry for the late response, but i have now sent it to my home pc and checked and the same error occurs, at this point i am starting to question if i am doing something wrong, but i feel you would have pointed that out when i sent the video of me recreating the error

 

I think I see your problem

you have the inspector in debug mode

if you look your inspector window, it says "debug" instead of "inspector"

because of this you cant change any values
