Cannot add any component

    Using Linux Ubuntu 14.04
    when I try to add a component Unity crashes

    Did you file a bug report for the crash?
    How are you trying to add the component? What component is it? What are you adding it to?

    Yes I file a bug report.
    I'm trying to add it in the inspector... A normal Rigidbody2D in a blank GameObject

    I didn't receive any email. But I try to add components by drag and drop and it word. Also work when I try to add them by the menus in the upper bar

    Mine is experiencing the same problem. Case 724968_sjqhenkf617i46qq.
    I was going back through the Roll-A-Ball tutorial and attempted to add a script to the player object via inspector and also when I tried to add a Rigidbody via the inspector.

    edit: Sorry about the short bug case number before not used to that tracker.
