Can you segment users by A/B test value and/or by Remote Settings value?

We would like to use A/B testing group or Remote Settings value to segment players and run our analysis comparing different groups (especially for funnels).
How do you guys recommend to do that?

Currently we are sending Analytics Events with Key and Value for some sensitive RemoteSettings, but I believe that may leave to wrong results as some users may qualify for multiple Remote Settings values if they change over time.

 

Users can be in multiple segments if you change a remote setting variable, yes. This would be expected.
