Hi, I would like to set up unity to take screenshots with a transparent background if possible. I tried setting the alpha slider to max on the camera and scripted screenshots, but they weren't transparent. I think maybe I'll have to make a hot pink background and use a image editor program unless someone knows a way.

I think that having the alpha at max may have been the issue. Transparent alpha is 0, not 1. I've definitely taken transparent screenies before, and I'm pretty sure I did nothing special to achieve it.

I found that either max or min alpha didn't help me, but when I checked the alpha from grayscale on the images, I pretty much got what I wanted. Anyone know if there's a better way, because I'm slightly worried that it will take out black/gray from my images. Should I use the pink method from above?
