Can unity auto-generate mobile icons?

I use https://pgicons.abiro.com/ to generate all my iOS and android icons after uploading one 1024x1024 icon. I find it strange that unity doesn't have something similar and I have to go through all the generated icons one by one and put them in the necessary slots. Am I missing something or is this what people do?

 

Maybe there is something in an Asset store?

 

People usually code something to do it for them. Seems easy?

 

Agreed. I just passed my avatar to the website linked above and none of the resulting images were anything special. You could very easily create these icons with any and every basic image manipulation package out there.

If it were a task that needed to be done frequently someone would develop an extension for the editor to automate the process, but the time it would take to both develop and maintain a solution tends to be outweighed by the fact it's only being done once per app.
