Can the iPhone render specular hilights?

    Hi,

Has anyone seen Unity's specular shaders work on the iPhone? We have objects that make use of specular shaders in Unity iPhone, but when the project runs on the device the hilights disappear, which makes a disappointing difference to the look of the scene.

I was surprised to see this fail on the phone, as it's not a problem I have heard of before. Can anyone suggest what we might be doing wrong?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the link. My graphics emulation was set to iPhone(MBXlite), but after trying the other two options, for iPhone 3Gs OpenGLES1.1, the editor still displays the specular hilights.

Now I know this element definetely doesn't work on the iPhone, we can work around it by either altering shaders or baking the textures in 3ds Max.
