Can the human rig support extra wrist bone?

    Hey guys.
    I need to commision a artist to rerig our skinned human character and add a wrist bone for better posing ability. Our hands are driven procedural so no problem there. We iterateover the wrist, hand and finger bones.

    But will it work for the animation? Or will it be confused by the extra bone?

    Background story, our first person and third person hands share the same hand posing configure (hundrends of them so we want to keep it like this). Now we have added a wrist bone to be able to pose the hands more natural.



    Problem is now it looks funny in third person because its missing the wrist bone.
