Question Can I use other assets in promotional/demonstrative work on my assets store page?

I hope this is the correct forum to post this question cause the asset store forum says it's for promoting assets.

I am creating an asset that focuses on the easy creation of a settings menu. Since the asset is all about functionality and in the majority of cases the UI elements such as a slider or dropdown will end up being replaced by the end user to fit their game style I don't really want to provide custom UI visuals beyond a basic one alongside it. There are tons of cool UI assets already available for free or to purchase and are easy to integrate with my asset. So I am wondering if it is legal to use one or more of those assets only for showcasing the ease of integration and compatibility with my asset in images shown on my assets store page? I of course do own said assets and would not include them in my asset. Is this against any law or Unity terms of use etc or can this be done? Of course I would also highlight the fact/add a disclaimer that they are not included in the asset on any media I use those assets for.

The most legally and morally proper way to do this is to write to the asset creator and ask for consent. You can make it easier for them to offer that you will mention the asset and/or the creator and maybe even the URL to the asset in your description and/or documentation. Crediting people and market each other goes a long way. And obviously you will have to make clear that the asset isn't part of the offering for the users and it's demonstration purposes only.
