Can I sell a package that uses assets purchased from the asset store?

When purchasing things like models from the asset store, you purchase it with the intent to use it inside of your game, which will ultimately be released(if finished) for either a cost, or free. Either way when you distribute the game you are essentially distributing the purchased models.

Let's say that I've developed a package that allows people to set up a certain kind of game really easily, however this package contains models that I have purchased from the asset store. What would the restrictions be on releasing the package for free, or selling it, if any?

You cannot redistribute other people's assets unless you have explicit permission from them.

Does this goes for free assets as-well?

You can redistribute Unity Technology's free assets. For other people's, you need permission.

There are a bunch of products on the Asset Store that have requirements such as "requires NGUI" or "requires UFPS". Perhaps you could just put this in bold at the top of your Asset Store description and require the customer to purchase those separately.

For art assets, if your budget allows, you could hire an artist to recreate models by posting on the Job Offering forum or reviewing portfolios on the Job Seeking forum. This way, the models are yours, and you can redistribute them however you want.

It's not that important, my package is all scripts, but it would sell better if it was displayed with something other than a capsule and some cubes, y'know?

You will need to write to the person who own the asset you want to include, and see if you can come to an agreement.

Thanks and as for what Tony said "You can redistribute Unity Technology's free assets."
    This is true, correct?
