I've made a 2d forest pack with tree, platform sprites and stuff to sell on Asset Store, then I used the free 2D Template from Unity Essentials in the Asset Store to build a demo level:

(screenshot: a part of the level - forest scene sprites, from me, character, sounds, scripts are from Unity 2D Template)

I wanna include this demo level to my pack so the users can play with it right away, but this way the pack will contains assets that belong to the 2D Template creators. So, can I sell a pack that contains some assets in unity essentials example?

:D thank you, I decided not to include the 2D Platform template character and stuffs though, cos they link with a lot of other assets I don't know what to choose to upload it drives me crazy :p I think the sprites and level only is good enough :D

I would always avoid Standard Assets in packaging as a rule.
It will only bite you in the future.

    It's not a complicated 2D character controller - and I'm not even a code guy. :)
I watched your video because I wanted to see what you needed beyond a simple 2D character and controller - and the answer is - nothing. Why not just create a basic 2D character and controller?
Note - if you do create a character and controller - you will get requests to edit the controller with additional features.
Look at @Kubold FAQ on his site on how to handle requests for support on controllers that are setup specifically for demo purposes.
