    Hi,

As the title reads: is there a way to have 2 Inspectors of different GameObjects open at the same time?

It happens sometimes that I like to check some values from two completely different GameObjects. My solution is that I click on the first GameObject, make a screenshot and have that screenshot to look at when I manipulate the other object, but maybe there is a better way to that (I know I can copy values from the gear-icon but I don't always want to copy and overwrite the values of my second GameObject, its more to check if values are aligned)

Yes, there's a button (three ---) top right corner of the inspector tab. You can open second tab and layout it anywhere you want.

Make sure you're ticking "lock" on the inspector after selecting asset you want. Otherwise both inspectors will select same asset.

Same tip can be applied to the Project window as well.

This doesn't work with the Hierarchy windows? Is it expected to?
