So far I have had a hard time.... With upgrading wish I waited longer. I keep getting scene mismatch errors. While in game. Kinda annoying its like the DontDestoryGameObjects are like there own scene.

    See attached screenshot.

Before this upgrade I could easily reference any object in a scene now not so much. Also I keep getting when I go to port it to mobile I have to do double touch just to get any feedback. Is this issue going to be fixed soon as well?

Until then I will take a weeks worth of work and go back to a previous version of unity. Cant do this I have deadlines!!!

All you need to do is install the previous version of Unity and load up the backup of the project that you took before upgrading... you know, that backup you took? :)

That means we can't reference objects in DontDestroyOnLoad scene anymore? Because that makes absolutely no sense. Even some unity tutorials does that with some "GameController" game objects...

i have no idea how many times this was pointed out before, but don't move your actual projects (you know those which pay your rent and stuff..) on a beta. it's just not worth the potential trouble and you have no one to blame but yourself if something goes wrong.

^^^ I always keep my projects on a public release but test betas on a copy. It's really not worth it, no matter how great it is.
