CAGE is a twist on the classic LAN arena shooter. It features lightning-fast gameplay fully exploiting all three dimensions of motion. The "tether" allows for unprecedented freedom and agility of movement, creating explosive action unlike any other shooter.

    Features:
    - 4 Maps: ThreeTowers, Stalks, Port, and Struct
    - 3 GameModes: Deathmatch, KeepAway, and King of the (moving) Hill
    - 9 powerful, satisfying weapons

CAGE is, and will always be, completely free to play, with no microtransactions. This game has been my passion project for the last few months, and I want as many people as possible to play it.

To be clear, this game has no online functionality. It is LAN only. This means you have to be connected to the same router as your friends.

As said above the game currently only features four maps. If possible, I would like to add to this. If anyone has any ideas on maps that would lend themselves well to the tether mechanic, please comment below. Inspiration images would be very welcome.

Also, the game is currently on Steam Greenlight. If you think this game should be on Steam, please upvote!

    Thanks!

WOW. I have to say this looks really fun! Not stunning visuals, but the gameplay in that trailer looks like solid fun!

I have a question about your game: what happens when you point the right handed weapon at another player? Do the two players get pulled together? If not that could be an interesting feature. :)

Map ideas? TBH I think space themes would be perfect for a game like this. You already barely have gravity, and you are flying around in every direction too so that fits in to outer space theme perfectly.

While I think your tether game mechanic is great, I wouldn't say it's unlike any other shooter. The grappling hook laser from Quake 2 back in the day seems to function identically. (I miss that game!)
