    Hello everybody!

I'm sorry if it was discussed before and I'm asking again. I did a forum search, but got dozens of pages and have too few words to make the search more precise. So, this is the question.

In our project, we are going to add CORBA and planning to use method RegisterChannel in class ChannelServices, in namespace System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels. We will use iiop.net dll in our project (http://iiop-net.sourceforge.net, it's written on C#). As we understand, it is allowed in unity web-player (on UnityAnswers, we found answer that C# .dlls will work in web versions). But, we also heard that .dll's should not be added to the player due to security reasons.

Also, we checked here: http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Manual/Security Sandbox.html
And it looks like everything is okay and is allowed.

But we still worry about the future, should we use this library in our game. Is it safe to use this method and class in this namespace, as well as is it safe to use our own .dll (written on C#) in a web player? Because if we will rely on it and it will be blocked later for security reasons, we will be in a big trouble (it could be totally fatal for our project, should we have a good playerbase already).

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a stupid question - but it's important for us to get a clear, 100% answer before we begin building our project, based on this method.

Is there any news on this topic?
Any successful experience on iiop-net inside Unity3D?

We're currently deciding is it worth trying or not, so any input would be great :)
Maybe there are other options or better solution of interprocess communication?
