Bypass unets paid features and self host

    Hi i was wondering if anyone has found out a way to bypass the relay server and matchmaking and go for the direct connect to a dedicated server method.

    1. Make a dedicated server;
    2. Host it somewhere;
    3. Port forward required ports;
    4. Connect to it;

    That's about it. Now, you will probably want something like a master server, to communicate with connected players and host rooms, lobbies etc. Or something that communicates with client and connects to an actual game server.

    Checkout Master Server Framework, I've been successully using it for that and it's rather simple to pickup.

    Cost of doing that - 0$, you're paying only for the server itself, electricity and network traffic by your ISP.

    You just don't use the matchmaker / relay services. Is there a specific issue you're running into that people can help you with?

    Well how would i get started without using the matchmaker/relay. like what classes would i use?
