Buying Unity Ads requires a 3rd Party Plugin

I'm not sure if this is a question, a fact, or a warning to others looking to buy ads for their game. Maybe all 3. But I wanted to post to confirm it one way or the other.

In the last step of the next-to-last step of the advertiser getting started instructions, there's a section about Tracking Links, which seem to be a requirement for running a campaign. And Tracking Links require implementing a 3rd party plugin of some sort. And the first suggested 3rd party link I tried was broken.

Why can't Unity Ads provide a tracking link natively?

Why can't this requirement be posted at the beginning rather than buried at the end of the implementation guide?

Thanks for adding the warning at the top. I'm sure there's some reason, but still feels like a lot of extra work to just use Unity ads (both selling and buying).
