buy pieces of terrain in the game

Hey guys,

Sorry for my english in advance.

I am looking for a tool to select piece of terrain to let a player buy it. I have no idea how this technique is called and therefor not able to find anything about this like an asset or tutorials.

So what the plan is: i make a terrain with unity. Then in the game you should be able to select a piece and then buy it or change the purpose of that ground. Like in city builders that you can create zones.

Is something like this available because? And how do we call this?
