    Hello Unity Community!

I am a total noob to Unity, so I expect I'll be spending a good amount of time on these forums. I've done a three-part skillshare course on Unity, where I built a Breakout style game using Playmaker. Now I'm going forth with my fresh false sense of confidence and trying to build my own original game.

I have concept art for a simple clock I've created (attached), and am attempting to build the model, and use it in Unity (scene attached as well). I've started working in SketchUp, which seems to have the lowest barrier to entry for modeling.

TL DR: My first question is, how can I make the visuals (lighting) in Unity look clean and flat like this concept art? I notice that the default shadows on the clock body are really muddy looking, whereas I'd like more of a clean, flat shadow.

    Thanks in advance!
    Chase

have you looked at the specific learn section for lighting?
Might help to get some knowledge on what you can do to improve the lighting.

    Thanks for the response!

I've watched the intro video for the standard shader, and have poked around at some of the content. Was just curious if there was a "best-practice" preset or shader for this type of effect (going for a sort of cel-shaded look.)
