    Hello guys,
I have a very serious and very annoying problem. the build size of my unity game is really huge. It is a very simple 2d game, and not with a whole lot of textures.

It only consists of 2 scenes and a handful of textures.
I have followed this guide and this:
    http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/iphone-playerSizeOptimization.html
    http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/ReducingFilesize.html
All of the textures i have limited the size to max 1024 or 512 Mb. When i build the project for iOS, it says in the editor.log that the project has a complete size of 80 mb but when i build and run it on the iPhone is says that it takes up 170 mbs (!!!) of space.
So two problems arise here 80 mb is in itself quite a lot and makes no sense with so few textures but then it is almost doubled when it gets to the iphone. Can someone tell me what could be the problem here??
    Here is the log

What format have you chosen for the textures? Maybe the 80M for them is because they are treated as 32-bit RGBA images?

Hmm... So the Color Hopper_top.png... How many pixels is it? The build tool says it's 5.1mb. Is it a power-of-two texture? Just wonder if it's not being compressed.
