Build Settings Window Not Appearing

The window for build settings is not appearing in my current project or any new projects I make.
Build & Run worked for a while on my current project, but no longer works.

I opened an old project and the build settings window will appear.

I have tried to do Assets > Reimport All
Upgraded to version 5.4.2.p4 and I still have the same issue.

 

I solved it by dragging assets into an old project in which "Build Settings" still appeared.

i had this problem. Another solution is to reset your window layout. you might have dragged it UNDER the start bar, and then you cant reach it. if you did some rearranging of the tabs, you gotta redo that since you need to load the default window layout. that includes the build window, so it will get deleted too, then all you gotta do is File>build settings and it will appear

 

I also had this problem but it turned out to be the build settings window was opening on my third screen which was off but not disabled in windows, disabling it made the build settings window appear again.
