Build Issues - Unity 5.2.3 - build files not being created

Strange....

Trying to publish a build of a scene and the "build progress window" just disappears after a few seconds (at compiling scripts stage) - with no final files showing up in my folder. Both Web build and PC build failed (without any failure message). Am I missing something simple here? Also tried new scene from scratch - just dragged in FPS controller and build works, but as soon as I drag in any model objects it's a no go.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

 

Dug a little deeper and found the answer!
