[Bug]Using Unity Hub 2.3.0, opening project with newer version Unity will crash.

How to reproduce:
Using Unity Hub 2.3.0, opening project with newer version Unity will crash. The Editor won't show at all. The bug reporter pops up.

Opening 2019.3.7f1 project with 2019.3.7f1 version Unity, works fine;
Opening 2019.3.7f1 project with 2019.3.9f1 or 2019.3.10f1 version Unity, crashes;
Opening older version (older than 2019.3.7f1, can't remember) project with 2019.3.7f1 version Unity, works fine;
Opening older version (older than 2019.3.7f1) project with 2019.3.9f1 or 2019.3.10f1 version Unity, crashes.

Tested on Windows 10

 

Got something similar, wont open any projects but not showing any errors at all.. totally stuck.. with HUB 2.3 and if you down load any stand alone versions it states you need unity hub and directs you to latest version.. I found a old version 2.02 on someone post and everything works.. so it looks like unity 2.3 screws everything up


Need a fix for this!

 

Ok so i upgraded from 2.02 to 2.3 and everything is fine.. not sure if this will work for you!
