Bug: Timeline Animation Clip not equal to Animation Clip Set in Animation Controller directly?

    See images below? Anyone experienced this. This is in 2018.1.0b12
    Our character has a very twisted wrist when the animation is played through timline. But everything is ok when the same animation clip is directly applied to the animator itself....
    You can see the difference in the clip stats. What is timeline doing differently or is this a known bug? in 2018.1 ?

    That's strange that it would occur on the wrist. Timeline always applies root motion for playback, which can explain some visual differences.

    It might explain the difference in clip info if there are root transforms as well.

    But it is not a known bug that I'm aware of, but please feel free to open a bug report and we will happily have a look asap.
