Bug or limitation with Low Resolution Transparency option

    Hi, for my transparent pass water I'm experiencing a number of issues with depth fighting. Is this a bug or limitation of the feature, and if limit, what strategies exist?

    While waiting for information on the issue (media, small repro case), it's worth noting that low res transparency is probably not best used for water, unless you are talking about water sprays/particles.

    Low resolution transparency will come, by definition, with lots of downsides. What it is really optimized for (in terms of visual effectiveness) is for VFX or generally cases in which you have an high risk of overdraw. Big planes at low resolution are very likely to end up showing all the downfalls of the technique (compositing, visual issues, wonky edges).
