Bug on iPhone 4 only. Possible to make our game not downloadable by iPhone 4 models only?

Unfortunately Apple doesn't make it easy to lock your apps to specific devices. However, I believe the iPhone 4 can not install iOS 8, which every device more powerful than it can, so you could target iOS 8 only. Unfortunately this means you'll be locking out any phone/ipod younger than the iPhone 4, but the market share on those devices now is fairly small.

Check out the device compatibility list.

You'll see the iPhone 4 and earlier devices don't have the 'bluetooth-le' capability. So you could in Xcode mark this as a requirement. iPad 1 and iPad 2 don't have this capability either.

Hacky, yes. But hacky is what you need when Apple doesn't give us developers something as simple as a device exclusion list for our apps!

 

Thanks for the info, that's something worth thinking about! Currently the game does play find on the iPad2 so we'll need to mull over that...

 

iOS 8 is a better bet then, iPad 2 can still get that. If you mark bluetooth and dont use it you run a small risk of getting rejected.
