broken materials after c4d export

    I've created my scene in Cineam4D 10, however, when exporting to fbx and then importing into Unity, all the materials appear black, but when selected, the materials show that they know the correct textures.

    Does anyone know what could cause/fix this?

    This issue might have to go into a FAQ somewhere :wink:

    Here's a thread that deals with the same problem.

    The textures seem to go through fine, but material colors are all black for some reason. If you up the colors then it should work (you only have to do it once).

    Ah Aras you're right! I should have noticed that, I set them all to white and now it's fine... I wonder how they all got set to black :oops: Luckily c4d let me select all the materials and set them to white all at once (I've been a loyal c4d user since c4d 6.0 and I would never switch :) )

    Also thank you for that link ANTeNNa trEE, though my problem was different I do plan on adding light maps later and I know that problem would have given me headaches.
