Broken links in inspector after reopening scene

    I searched for this but didn't find anything, so pardon me if I missed a previous post.

    We have a VR project in 5.4. In one of our scenes, we have a network manager object which sits in the inspector, and is also a prefab. Whenever the scene is closed and reopened, all the links on the object are broken. Dragging the prefab into the scene was our workaround, but it's now showing the same behavior.

    It's incredibly frustrating to keep dealing with repopulating this object over and over. Could it be a bug?
